‘Although‘ at APT Gallery, London
A 5m high circular structure in the corner of the gallery, ‘Although’ hovered clear of the floor, and was accompanied by painted and drawn lines on the wall, floor and pillar opposite. It was made with an awareness not just of the room and the views of it from different places (especially the diagonal view seen in the last image) but also in relation to Helen Robertson’s large architectural installation ‘Another Path’
INFO
Materials: Loc-Line coolant hose + acrylic paint on wall, across the floor and on the pillar. Dimensions approx 4m x 5m x 4m.
Installed for the exhibition, ‘The Undersides of Practice’ at APT Gallery, London, 2020 and funded as part of the APT SHOTS programme.
